MultiPhase-SEG Information

Description
MultiPhase-SEG is a segmentation software. It employs the implementation of the active contours without edges level set based segmentation model. The model is based on techniques of curve or surface evolution, Mumford-Shah functional for segmentation, and level sets. The software can be used to segment two-dimensional and three-dimensional images.
Features

  • Segments three-dimensional brain volumes into two or more regions (for example, regions could be WM, GM, and CSF).

  • Visualizes surfaces representing boundaries of different brain regions.

  • Written in Matlab and is able to run on any platform with Matlab installed.

This is an open source Matlab implementation.

OS: any, Memory: 2 GB or more, Processor: Intel Pentium 2.0 GHz or AMD Athlon XP 2000+ or higher, Other: Matlab 6.5 or later
Installation
Requires Matlab to be installed on the system.
